We held our first Quarterly Business Lunch for the year on “Navigating the Centrelink System” on Wednesday 10th April at Leonda by the Yarra. This topic was extremely popular amongst our clients and their guests, with the session being fully booked.
The presenters on the day were GFM advisers – James Malliaros, Paul Nicol and Patrick Malcolm.
The presentation provided an overview and an understanding of the Centrelink and Age Pension System including the very significant changes over the last few years, and recently the introduction of new income and asset test assessments for lifetime income streams which commence from 1 July 2019.
